Product Overview
The European cable distribution box is widely used in cable-based power distribution systems in recent years. Its main features include a double-sided door design and the use of wall bushings as connecting busbars. This design offers a compact structure, neat cable arrangement, and eliminates the need for large-span crossing of three-core cables, providing significant installation advantages.
The cable connectors used comply with DIN 47636 standards. The system typically adopts 630 A rated current bolted-type cable connectors, ensuring reliable and secure electrical connections.

Pre-Installation Inspection and Testing
◆The cable branch box should undergo the following inspection and testing before installation and operation:
◇Voltage Withstand Test:
When de-energized, apply a power frequency voltage of 45 kV for 1 minute. No breakdown or flashover should occur.
◇Note: Before the test, disconnect the live display wiring and connect the output line of the supporting insulator or sensor. Do not use zinc oxide lightning arresters during the test.
◇Live Display Inspection:
When the voltage is increased to 5 kV, the indicator light should illuminate. When increased to 10 kV, the indicator light should be bright.
◆Installation Base
◇Prior to installing the branch box, the user should prepare the cable trench or well in advance.
◇The installation base for the cable junction box should be fabricated with welded channel steel and pre-embedded on a flat foundation.
